Sample Progress Report (Unit four)

Progress Report 

A progress report informs the status of a work in progress. It informs how much of the work is complete, how much remains to be completed and how much money, material and workforce will be needed to complete the work on time. This report is very common for timebound projects like construction of a dam, a road or any building. It may be a software project or the like also. Since the work or project must be completed within a given time frame, a project report is mandatory. Without a project report such work cannot be completed on time. It tells whether the work is going on in right speed or it will require extra workforce, money or material to complete the work on time. See a sample progress report below:-
